Pneumatic Components Provide Environmental Benefits to Industry

When it comes to ‘greening’ up our planet, the pneumatic components of modern industry help to eliminate toxic substances from the manufacturing process. Machines require an energy medium to effect motion, and the use of compressed air to power the pneumatic components of much of today’s factory equipment is a superior alternative to the use of the toxic oils needed to power hydraulically operated manufacturing machines. The pneumatic components to any manufacturing process are far preferable to the use of petroleum based energy transfer mediums. Not to mention the fact that air is free.
