Nobody wants hydraulic fluid (toxic oil) released into the environment, which is why many industries favor the pneumatic components of manufacturing machines that rely on harmless compressed air for an energy source. Pneumatic components can be found on countless air-powered devices that do no harm to the environment. Whether it’s a jackhammer a nail gun or a printing press, the pneumatic components of all these inventions help all of us breathe just a little bit easier. Who cares if an air hose springs a leak?
